A lakeside garden reveal
Jurong Lake Gardens puts water, lawns and a wide sky behind your product. For a brand with a wellness, family, outdoor or lighter footprint story, that is a gift. For a dense piece of enterprise software, it may just be a distraction. Start by asking whether the place helps the story.
Compete with the view, or use it
In a garden you are up against sky, water and trees for attention. Walk the site at the same time of day as your event and note where the light falls and where the strongest sightlines run. A product revealed with the lake behind it usually photographs better than one tucked under a tent facing a path.
Reveal formats that work in the open
- Drape and pull: simple and reliable, as long as the cover is weighted against wind.
- Procession: the product arrives along a path while guests line the route.
- Countdown: an emcee and a short music sting pull a scattered crowd together.
- Staggered pods: several demo stations uncovered in turn as guests stroll through.

Cameras first, stage second
Mark the clean product shot, the branded backdrop and the speaker spot on the site plan before anything else. Keep crew and cables out of those frames, and add a shaded corner for interviews afterwards. A low platform, compact sound and one well placed backdrop are usually enough; a big stage just blocks the lake.
West side logistics
Many guests will travel from the city. Send public transport options, drop-off points and parking guidance with the invitation, and think about a shuttle from a central meeting point for media. Shade, water and short speeches matter for anyone in business dress. Check current rules on structures, sound and branding with the managing body before you design anything ambitious.
Our take: write the shortened programme now. If rain cuts the afternoon in half, you want a version that still includes the reveal.
